 mnt.saint.helens It made alot of ash which blocked out the sun. Mount Saint Helens killed 57 people. A stubborn man named Truman didn't leave his lodge during the volcano explosion, he said "Im not leaving my lodge no matter what happens" he died in his lodge by the volcano. Mount Saint Helens top actually slid of by a 5.1 earthquake. There was a mud slid after the eruption that filled the rivers. Spirit lake was filled with a lot of debris and was dissplaced from its original location, too two hundred feet in ellavation. Mount Saint Helens is now a highly active volcano.
