We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. How we scored our creek How we scored our creek is we were looking for types of bugs,once we found the types of bugs checked them off of our list.After we were done the class counted them up and got our score of 21 points.we scored them on how tolerent they were.the bugs that got 4 points were,stoneflies,mayflies,caddisflies,dobsonflies. there was no 3 pointers that we foud.
but there is one that is a scud thats worth 2 points.the bugs that are worth i point are,flat worms,tubifex worms and leeches.

You didn't tell me what the best possible score was so I don't know if 21 is good or bad. I liked the part when you explained the points we got for the certain bugs. Good job.
