We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. macros we found macros such as stoneflys,larve,bloodworm,worm,a fish of some sort?,water might,a scud or a white shrimp,
Stoneflies,mayflies,dobsonflies are not very tolerent so they die the quickest while others like worms and leeches die the slowest.
Leeches,worms=1points
Scuds=2points
Dragonflies,riffle beetle, water mights, and caddisflies=3points
mayflies, stoneflys, dobsinflies=4points
leeches are like sucking pads for human blood
alot of macros are dieing because of pollution
