This is a place for students from grades 4 - 7 to write about their research projects, book club book reviews and to learn to use 21st Century technology skills. It is an invitation to see what students in my library research classes are researching, learning and sharing. We learn from positive, constructive feedback not negative criticism. Please notice our successes, not our mistakes.

                                                      Being Safe on the Internet

At Web Café I learned a lot of things. I now know more on how to be safe on the internet. I learned that to check where a link goes to, hover your cursor over the link and it will tell you where it leads to. Another thing I did not know is that banks never send you emails. If you get an email that says it’s from a bank, it is certainly a scam. Speaking of emails if you do not recognize the sender for an email, do not open the mail, you might get a virus. When online, never accept “free” things because the usually ask for personal information. So don’t click on unknown sites or emails to stay safe on the internet. So, this is what I learned at Web Café.
