Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. chimacum Creek

this is our picture. of bugs we got from the chimacum creek to test the water quality


So that is a gigantic scud we found but unluckely:( it is dead so it wasnt as fun as the live ones.


This is a scud so it is worth 2 points on the scoring sheetand is tolerant to water pollution. all the bugs we could find this was one of the ones we could get.


Over all the whole class got  20 points out off all the bugs we found so chimacum creek scored 20 p
oints

and comparing yellow jacket creek t o chimacum creek we scored 20 and yellow jacket creek from cispis scored 25 so our creek is a little cleaner
