Always Remember

I think this is my best paragraph. Please comment on it if I need to make any corrections. Suggestions are certainly welcome. Thank you for all your help.

At the beginning of every man or woman’s career in the armed forces they take an oath.  That oath is an oath of sacrifice. They will, if they have to, give their life for their country. I honestly don’t know if I could make that kind of promise. Even if it was for something or someone I love. The thoughts that must be going through that man or woman’s head, at the time, must be thoughts of valiance. They are probably not even thinking about death but merely of service, duty, and honor. That is the true meaning of bravery.
