 The Scary Story But one year he went to an old house and nobody knew if anybody lived in it but he didn’t know that, so he went up to their door and rang the door bell. But nobody answered. So he rang it again. But still nobody answered. So he said to himself “I’ll try again next year”. And so he did. Finally next year came. As he was getting closer and he got more and more afraid. He rang the bell and someone answered and Joe said “Trick-or-treat.” The lady gave him a poisoned pumpkin. But luckily he never ate it. He just used it for decorations. P.S. This story is fake.
