The Spooky Halloween

Every year before Halloween I go shopping for my costume. My dad takes my brother, my mom, and me to Party City to buy our costume for Halloween. When we get home from Party City, I always go try on my costume to see if it fits.

“Perfect”, I said. “I just can’t wait for Halloween!”

By 7:00 pm my uncle, aunt, and cousins arrived at my house. When we left my house to go trick or treating my cousins and I got excited. I knew I was going to get a lot of candy.

We went to knock on the first house's door.  “Trick-or-treat!” the three of us yelled. Then the nice lady gave us a few pieces of candy.  “Mmmm, M & M’s my favorite!” 

Next, we got to a scary house.  I got excited because I thought they would give us a lot of candy. The house had ghosts hanging from trees. The scariest part was a guy had a fake chainsaw that was really loud.  He had the chainsaw on a table and whenever he pressed a button on the chain saw, it made a loud chainsaw noise.

When we got home I was tired. A half an hour later my brother came with his bag all ripped up.

I can’t wait for next year’s Halloween.
