Turtle Bay Yes,the author did make Taro believable.I think this because a real person can feed crabs with pieces of rotten fish.For example,a real person can see turtles on a beach laying hundreds of eggs.Plus,a real person can see a whale with her calf.This is why I think the author made Taro believable.
