happy halloween Walk along the sidewalk
There’s silence, no talk
Huff past the street post
Still here don’t boast.
Step, step,
Quiet steps.
Then stop, but a noise still walks.
Run, run faster than hawks
Almost out of breath huff, huff
You hear a dog ruff, ruff.
You slow down,
Now you’re in town.
You step again
And then…
Stop,
A step. A cop?
Turn around,
Then you drop down.
A beast behind you.
Oh no not you.
He is very hungry,
Bye, bye you’re in his tummy
