I would say i use text to text , text to world and text to self everyday all day. It may be in reference to a artricle it may reference to a message i see on tv. I feel the one i use the most if text to world.  Reading a arcticle about the Jets then watching them and relating them to the text i have just read. i think that it helps really tie together some things that maybe a author or blogger has said about a certain player can really be useful in determing how the season is going and really anazlying what we are seeing.

Great example, Michael! In the past two years I have developed an interest in hockey. It started because my son is so passionate about the game (yes, even at his young age) and I started really getting into watching and understanding the games. As someone who is still fairly new to the sport, it is a huge help when I can hear the announcers and commentary between periods in order to make connections and understand what is going on! I've even developed the habit of watching SportsCentre in the mornings before school to see the highlights from games I might have missed the previous evening. I can now make some sense of my husband's games (he plays winter league hockey), even though there is no announcer!
