 About Water Pollution Water pollution is water contaminated with sewage, radioactive waste, oil, etc. Water pollution is also water spoiled from global warming and atmospheric deposition. Farmers also dump eutrophication into bodies of water like rivers, creeks, and ponds. Some sources of water pollution are industrial sites, leaks on ships that carry a high supply of oil, and farms/farmers. Industrial sites dump sewage, nuclear waste, and wastewater into bodies of water. Ships that leak, dump tons and tons of oil into open bodies of water. And farms/farmers dump eutrophication into creeks and rivers. There are many different dangers and consequences of water pollution which include metals, which is poisonous to marine life (Fish and Shellfish) which can cause carcinogenic problems when the marine life has been consumed. Industrial waste also has many other toxic compounds that damage marine life. Organic waste causes and helps grow aerobic algae, aerobic algae depletes oxygen, which suffocates fish and kills them. Actions that can be taken to help water pollution are simple actions that will improve water quality. One is industrial treatment, stopping them from throwing chemicals and metals into bodies of water will greatly enhance the quality of water. Building more efficiant septic tanks will also help, untreated sewage flows in the tank and the liquid is seperated from the solids because the heavier the more it will sink. Ways to prevent water pollution is as simple as conserving water by turning off your water tap when your not using it. Others are be careful NOT to flush paint, oils, or litter down your lavatory (toilet). And also have more pants in your garden! Having more plants mean your preventing pesticides and contaminated water flow into nearby bodies of water (rivers, lakes, creeks, etc). un lun dun I like your introduction niki,and your hole story. I think you need a little inpruvment on your post, wre you said, water polution is water, doesnt make sence.the rest is awesom.
