Holes
The book that I'm currently reading is Holes by Louis Sachar. I'm reading this book a second time because of how interesting it is to me. A boy is convicted for steeling a pair of shoes that were famous and to be auctioned off. The money raised was to be brought to a homeless shelter. The main character's name is Stanley Yelnats, from a poor family. After committing the crime he gets the choice to either go to jail, or dig holes at a place called Camp Green Lake. He chooses to go to the camp. I like this book because all of the characters at the camp have silly nicknames and act really cocky, but funny. So overall, this is my favorite book.
