Forestry Field Day
Forestry field day was cool. We learned about dirt and trees and nature, but my favorites were lunch and firefighting. I know lunch isn’t really a subject, but it just felt good to bask in the sun, talk and eat. I liked firefighting because he made it really interesting and fun. I thought it was cool when we got to spray the water pump. When we learned about the equipment, it was surprising, what they wore to protect themselves. I also enjoyed it when we sat down to record observations. I had this nice little spot between two tree roots and where the sun was just right. Right before that we learned about pinecones with Mr. Monson instead of going to the class, which was great. But I liked everything, wildlife, dirt, trees, and the sawmill, it was all super fun!
