Massachusetts
Here are some cool things about my state. Massachusetts was founded in 1620. The Pilgrims who founded Massachusetts were greeted by the Wampanoag Indians. Today, the Wampanoag have a reservation on Martha’s Vineyard. In 1773, Bostonians were tired of taxation by Great Britain, so they threw tea into the Boston Harbor. This was called the Boston Tea Party, and it was one of the events that triggered the Revolutionary War. If you go to Boston, you can see important sites from the Revolution on the Freedom Trail. The capital of Massachusetts is Boston. Massachusetts is the 14th most populated state in the United States.
