 Flu Shot It's that time of year again. Flu season That can mean only one thing, FLU SHOT!!!! Yearly my mom drags me to the nearest Walgreens to have my imm-un-i-za-tion. As soon as she mentions flu shot, my anxiety level rises. Driving to the drugstore makes me light-headed and weak. Sitting in the back seat of the car, I can imagine the pinch and squeeze. Straight ahead, I can see the pharmacy sign, Flu Shots Everyday. My mom hands in the paperwork, Big mistake. Why? Thirty minutes pass, then I hear my name. Uh oh. I'm tense and stiff. I can barely move. I'm gonna faint. I see the lights. The pharmacist says, "Loosen up, okay." "I'll do so", I say. Pinch, ouch, yank, pull.
