 The everglades The storm stopped and the sun bathed the land in the winter moss and ferns and grass and trees grew. The land became a lake with blues green water so was called “Lake Okeechobee” then as months, years past the blue green water started to dry up and turned it to land. One of the children asked tell us a happy story. So the man said don’t worry soon the grass, water, plants and animals came back and it was like new one of the children said take us home so we can grow up.
