Water Pollution!!


what is water pollution?


Water pollution affects our oceans,lakes,rivers and drinking water,making it a widespreadand global concern.Numerous diseases,health problem,and even fatalities have been associated with water pollution water is considerd polluted when chemicals, pathogens or contaminants are detected.Human beings have the most crucial impact on our water resources.They also have the ability to control or eliminate water pollution can come from a number of diffrent sources.If the pollution comes from many sources such as an oil spill it is called point-source pollution if the pollution comes from many sources it is called nonpoint-scure pollution.


what are some of the consequen  water pollution?


your health heavy metals from industrial processes can accumulate in nearby lake and rivers these are toxic to the marine life such as fish,shellfish,and subsqently to the humans who eat them.Heavy metals can slow development;result in birth defects and some are carcinogenic,infectious,diseases the world.


What can be done to improve the quality of water after it has become polluted?


environmet  washing  powder,house hold cleaning agents and taletries.Take great care not over use pesticides and fertilisers.This will prevent runoffs of the material into nearby water sources.If you have garden you arer preventing fertiliers,pesticides and contaminatedwater running off into neaby water sources.


What are some actions that can be taken to help prvent water form becomeing polluted?


conserve water by turning off the tab when ruinning waters is not necessary.This helps prevent waters shortages and reduces the amount of contaminated water that needs treatment.Be careful do not throw trash oil,panit, or litter down the drain.


what are some of the sources of water pollution?


Sewage is the term used for waste the often contains faeces,urine and laundry waste earth, so treating sewage is a big priority sewage disposal countries as many people in these areas don't have access to sanitary conditions and clean water.Dumping litter on the sea is not good cardboard-takes 2 weeks to degrade foam-takes 50 years to degrade plastic packing- Takes 400 years to degrade.
