I'm With You Still- a poem for hard times
Ok, so this poem isn’t one of mine, but it was from an article for a necklace that my mom found. I loved the way this poem is written and I wanted to share it. This poem is a poem for hard times or if you have lost someone or something dear to you. I just love the way it’s written.
I Am With You Still
I give you this one thought to keep
I am with you still- do not weep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the swift stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone-
I am with you still- in each new dawn.
By anonymous.
I so wish I new who made this poem. Whatever, they can remain unknown.
