Water pollution and water quality Water is one of the most important things in the world. Water can be used for drinking,showering and other useful stuff. We need water to live and to stay hydrated. It helps with playing sports.

What is water pollution? - water pollution is the contamination of water bodies. The seven types of water pollution is: Surface water pollution: surface waters are the natural water resources of the earth. They are found on her exterior of the earth's crust. Groundwater is:

What are some of the sources of water pollution? - a source of water pollution is factory waste also leeching of fertilizers and different pesticides.

What are some of the consequences of water pollution? -depending on what chemicals are dumped and in what location. A consequence is destroying a envirement for animals.

What can be done to improve the quality of water? - what can be done is like the gutters at your house make sure to clean them once a month or sooner. And most importantly don't pollute in the creek,ponds,oceans,(etc.)Everyone has to learn not to pollute. It can be a very bad thing to the envirement. Polluting can also include oil spills! There has been some of those too lately=http://!

What are some of the actions that can be taken to help prevent water from being polluted? - (reduce,re-use,recycle) a action that you can use to prevent water pollution is: use re-useable bottles. Another action is conserving water and turning off the tap when running water is not necessary.

Some of the causes of water pollution are: sewage and waste water, Marine dumping, Global warming, Oil pollution, Underground storage leakage. Those are some of the causes of water pollution. And makes the water quality really poor.
