What Ben Jonson Meant Do you know what Ben Jonson meant when he said he was not of an age, but for all time? Well I do and this is what I think. William Shakespeare was in the age of poetry. He was not known of just for that time and he was popular in the 1500’s.today we are still reading his plays, and some of them are made into movies! William Shakespeare will NEVER be forgotten!
