We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Mt. St. Helens My evidence comes to the answer that it will come back to its original state because the lava dome is re-building it. Another piece of evidence is that the gas and pressure is building, causing the dome to rise and it is estimated to look close to what it did in 1980 in about 200 years (give or take a few).
