Virginia's state bird is the cardinal.The cardinal used to be named the Virginia nightengail. The state tree/floer is the American dogwood. There have been a lot of indians that have settled in Virginia. Virginia's bordering states are West Virginia,  Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Maryland. Virginia and North Caroilna have the same state bird.
