What I Think Ben Jonson Meant
In the story William Shakespeare and the Globe, a man named Ben Jonson said the quote, “William was not for an age, but for all time.” I think he meant that William was not a passing trend. He would live on in our lives forever with his plays. I think that because in the quote he says for all time. Also, because he said not for an age which means that even when he is dead, he will still be with us. People today still remember him. His name and he will never be forgotten.
