 Calvin's camping trip (part 1) They were on the long drive to Big Basin Sate Park and Calvin was annoying the rest of the people in the car. Calvin had packed all his gear the night before and he was still tired and cranky when the left at nine in the morning.I should tell you also that Calvin had lots of gear that he had gotten or bought over the years.He was very happy when he found out that they were going camping on his birthday. Anyway, Calvin was not a patient person and he was bugging his parents and brother the whole way. He would do that by repeating,” are we there yet?’ That’s why Calvin’s brother had brought earplugs and at the moment had them stuffed in his ears. After seven hours,Calvin sited a sign saying Big Basin one mile. While no one else saw it everyone jumped in fright when Calvin shouted, “Yeah, were almost there!” When they finally got to their campsite that they had booked, Calvin was happy that they got the camp area to themselves. The second the car stopped, Calvin jumped out to see what the campsite looked like.
