We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. 7 Random Facts


  1. My wife and two kids are awesome!




  2. I wear glasses cause they're cool. Yeah, and also because I can't see a thing without them!




  3. I love pork, yeah. Oh and chicken too. Steak's pretty good sometimes. Oh and salad, too.




  4. Science rules.




  5. Water, with ice, is my favorite drink.




  6. Sometimes my head swells up for no reason (just kidding, I was referring to my avatar picture). 




  7. I don't know why 6th graders keep asking me if I'm an alien from outer space. Seriously?

Wow. Awesome facts! I have no idea why your 6th graders would call you an alien. I haven’t called any of my science teachers an alien. I am not sure if I have ever had pork, but I do know that I love meat, whether it be steak or chicken. I also like salads, but not too much. That’s interesting that you head swells. Have you asked a doctor about it? My favorite drink is a mix of sprite and cranberry juice together. It gives it a sweet and bubbly taste. I made it myself, though I don’t know what to call it.
