Mathmatical Thinking Well, obviously, 7 times 4 equals 28. So if there are seven officers and 28 donuts, each officer gets 4 donuts. However if the baker actually made 91 donuts then each officer would get 13 as the baker originally thought. For example, if you did 12 times 8 in the baker’s way of solving then you could easily make the same mistake by adding the wrong way. Ergo you could accidentally end up with 24.
