Hurricane It was Saturday morning when we heard there was a hurricane coming to New York.

When we heard that we quickly went to the car to buy food and water. We drove really fast because we were in a hurry. We finally got to Cosco, the store I think is really big. I rapidly took a cart and started searching for water. I wasn’t surprised when I saw there was no more water. So we just took a pack of Gatorade. Then we went to go look for food that didn’t need to go in the refrigerator. We bought crackers, chips, bread, and chicken breast.

After that we quickly drove to our house. I was really scared. What if my house got flooded? Lucky for me, I live in a two story house, but I still didn’t get why I was so scared. It was getting late and I was sleepy.
It was 10:00 o’clock in the morning. I was still very tired because I stayed up all night. Then I remembered the flood. I ran to my window. The water was up to the 3rd step. I thought it was going to be bigger.

In a few hours the flood would be gone and it would seem like nothing happened.

Cutie!
My family bought a whole bunch of food and water, too and then NOTHING happened! We all slept downstairs at my house because we were scared trees were going to fall but none did. Oh, well, better safe than sorry, right?!
