I think that the strangest thing that has happened to me would be the time when I went to India couple of years ago. My mom, my aunt, my cousin, and I were visiting one of our old friends, in a place called Bangalore. My mom's friend was cutting up a mango for all of us to eat, while the person's kids and I were playing around (my cousin was too shy). After my mom’s friend was done, she set the plate on the dining table for us to eat, but you know parents, thay don’t do anything until they are done talking. What none us(except for my cousin)didn’t know was that a monkey was sneaking through a window that was open. My cousin tried to tell us, but it obviously didn’t sound realistic, so we just ignored her and assumed that she was talking about some toy monkey they might have had somewhere around their house. Then, finally when we saw the monkey, we started chasing it, but it got away. I never expected such a trip, but last time I went to India in November, I had quite an adventure…

I think the scariest thing that has happened to me would be the time when a bunch of my Indian friends met up at one of our houses, and we were playing hide and seek... I hid in a dark room behind a folded up ping- pong table and I was already kind of creeped out by the dark, so I didn't realize that my friend's brother had snuck up behind me and in this really creepy voice, he said Varsha, and touched my shoulder and yelled BOO!! I got sooooo scared, I felt like I had a heart attack, at the age of 11!!! I'm 12 now, so it wasn't very long ago...
