I Am

I am a volleyball player

I wonder if I can set right to the hitter

I hear the crowd chanting my name

I see the other team struggling

I want to win so bad

I am a volleyball player



I pretend to set the ball just to get pratice

I feel the pressure building up

I touch the other players hand to give them a high five

I worry the ball will hit me in the face

I cry when I don't get a good set

I am a volleyball player



I understand if my team loses we won't go to state

I say keep your head held high

I dream to be a pro-volleyball player

I try to use good sportsmanship

I hope my team will give all they can to win
