Description: We are attaching a green party balloon that is about one forth filled with air. A blue party balloon that is half way filled with air, a orange party balloon that is full way filled with air and one small chip bag. We are attaching these stuff to one of our payloads. Next we will send the payloads up over 100,000 feet on a high altitude balloon.





Hypothesis:

Green Balloon – I think that the green balloon is not going to burst because the balloon is not filled that much with air.



Blue Balloon – I think that the blue balloon is going to burst because the balloon is half way filled and I think that its going to fill all the way with air and then its going to burst.



Orange Balloon – I think that the orange balloon is going to burst because the orange balloon is filled all the way with air then its going to get bigger and then its going to burst.



Bag of Chips. I think that the chip bag is going to fall off because the other time we sended a chip of bag to space it fell off so I think its going to do the same think.





Results- What Actually Happened to the green balloon-

When the high altitude balloon went up the green balloon expanded it got so stretched out that it was the size of the top of the payload when the green balloon got so stretched it was about to burst but it didn’t because the high altitude balloon popped before the green balloon was about to pop, when the high altitude balloon popped it went back to earth when it reached earth the green balloon started to go back to its original size.

Results- What actually Happened to the blue balloon

When they let go of the high altitude balloon the blue balloon started to expand when the high altitude balloon got high it expanded so much that it got a little bit bigger than the top of the payload, it got so big that it couldn't hold enough air so it popped.

Results- What Actually happened to the orange balloon

When they let go of the high altitude balloon the orange balloon started to stretch out when the high altitude balloon got so high the orange balloon couldn't hold enough air so it popped.



 

Results- What Actually happened to the chip bag

When we let go of the high altitude balloon the balloon went up when it got high enough the chip bag started to expand but it didn’t pop because the chip bag had a little hole.
