Dear Freshy,

                When coming into the ninth grade things might be tough be don’t give up on anything. My advice is not let anyone tell you that you can’t do something because if you really want to, you can. To be successful, keep up with your work and stay on top of things. As soon as you get your projects and homework, get started right away and don’t blow them off. If you blow everything off you will start failing and sometimes you’re grade might harder to pull back up then doing the first thing the first time.

                One really nice thing about freshman year is the two prep rallies. You always have fun as long as you show some class and school spirit. Another thing that is really nice to have in ninth grade is that you get more independence to everything. Teachers won’t concisely tell you to do this or that about their class. The bad part about that is some students won’t do the work and fail after they don’t. The downside to freshman year is you might fight with a lot of people but it’s only a natural way of life.

                Keep your head up high and you’ll do fine! Good luck class of 2015!
