Showing Our Addition Strategies
We have learned several strategies to help us add numbers. My students each made a video to show the strategy that he or she preferred. It is fascinating to me to hear each of the children explain their process. Check each student's individual blog (linked on the right) to see and hear them explain their learning.
Hi Mrs Kassidy's Class,

Mr. Taylor's blog http://kidblog.org/MrTaylorsClass4/taylorclass/high-hopes/
Hi, my class is sending up a high altitude balloon to over 100,000 feet (that’s almost 20 miles straight up!) We are sending up our High Hopes for the world with it so our “High Hopes” really will go “High!” My high hope for the world is to have clean food for people and clean water so we could live longer. I bet you have a high hope. If so share it here http://kidblog.org/MrTaylorsClass4/taylorclass/high-hopes/
and we will send your high hope up high too!! Please tell other people so they can join thankz !!

Wow! I love the way you use blogging in your classroom. It is amazing how much the kids are involved. I am just learning about blogging and didn't really see how I was going to use this new skill in my classroom but you gave me tones of ideas. Thanks so much!
