A fifth grade classroom reading and writing to develop skills to last a lifetime. History is not boring! We will dive into Social Studies including how our country was founded, and learn states and capitals for Club USA.
Well kiddos, we have two months of school left; where did the year go?! What is your favorite memory from this year so far? We still have many more fun times such as Lutherlyn, fifth grade field day, meeting our pen pals, poetry paradise, etc. Now that you are almost a fifth grade graduate, what would you tell fourth grade students about Hillcrest? How can they find success? Please remember to use CUPS when you are responding back to this post. Happy blogging! :)
I would tell them to always focus. And of course do good in gym class!!!! = )

I would tell any student coming to Hillcrest to do their homework every night and show their work when they do their math.

I would tell any 4th grader coming to hillcrest next year that they need to eat healthy meals, and get at least 60 minutes of exercise every day!

This is my fifth year of teaching. My husband and I spend time chasing our golden retriever, Bella, while rooting for Pittsburgh sports teams. Bella is welcoming her first sibling in July. We are excited to meet our son, Samuel Kennedy!
