Henry Sugar's Motto
In class, we are reading some short stories by Roald Dahl. The book is called The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More. We've just started the short story about Henry Sugar and came across his motto: "It is better to incur a mild rebuke then to perform an onerous task." Our class didn't understand this motto and set out to uncover it's meaning. Hopefully we'll discover Henry's motto.

In the book The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, Henry Suger says, "It is better to incur a mild rebuke then to perform an onerous task." What he is trying to say is that he would rather be in someone's "dog house" than work.
