Opinions on Google Earth "street view"

I just read an article on how Google has been using tricyles to get an even closer look at places using the "street view" action. I thought that was pretty cool. The good aspects of this would be users of Google Earth could get a much better look at the places that they were reasearching or just looking at. Also, this is also just another example of how much our world is changing and technology getting even better and better. Although, it is sad to say that almost every new creation has its own problems. The bad aspects of this would be the cameras taking pictures of things that really don't need to be seen (inapropriate images). Also, how expensive do you think it costs to take all of those pictures? We might end up paying for this new action.
