In Science class, we learned about the parts of the eye and their functions. The parts if the eye shown here are only a few of the many that make our eyes work. Here are a few:

Cornea: a protective screen over the eye

Retina: the lining of the eyeball; changes light

Iris: opens and closes pupil

Pupil: Lets in light

Schlera: screen; blocks light

optic nerve: sends signals to brain

clear jelly: hold shape of eyeball

tear duct: releases tears: tears clean eye

lens: focuses light

These are only a few of the many parts of the eye.
