 When I Slipped Off The Boat
When I Slipped Off The Boat My mom’s friend invited my mom, my sister, my mom’s best friend, and I to go for a boat ride. I was about seven years old. I was excited, but didn’t show it because I thought it would be cancelled like usual. We went down to the boat and I had to jump on because the stairs were too far away. I asked my mom if there was any food and she said, “Yes.” I went down to the kitchen and ate some cookies. Then my sister asked me if I want to lay down on the front of the boat. I said, “Yes.” My sister went to the front of the boat. I went to the front of the boat and I slipped! My sister yelled, “Leiya slipped off the boat!” I was scared. They stopped the boat and put down the stairs. I went to the back of the boat, being careful of the engine. Then I started to cry. Because I was crying, they let me drive the boat. Then we stopped and we went fishing. I caught 10 fish and 1 blow fish. We threw back the blow fish and gave the rest of the fish to the people who helped us with the boat. It was a great day except when I slipped. The rest of the day was very fun!
