Poem: Ice Cream
I grip the cone and start to lick. The creamy goodness melts to the touch of my tongue sliding down my throat the cone drips to my fingertips. I gulp quickly, liking rapidly my brain hurts, but I don’t want to lose my frozen treat. Embracing the pain I swallow and pressing my numb pink tongue to the roof of my mouth. The pain runs from my brain down my cheeks, and its gone. Its true love hurts, but my love for ice cream will never go away.
