Mr. Gianforte's Visit
We had Mr, Gianforte come to our school to talk about astronomy. He was very interesting, I learned many things. First he talked about how he loves astronomy and has a telescope in his backyard and sometimes tracks the light patterns from other planets crossing the Sun. Mr. Gianforte also explained what an exoplanet was. A exoplanet is a planet that is not in our solar system. It also doesn’t orbit our star, the sun, it orbits a different star instead. Also I learned that some stars have their own planets. Mr, Gianforte gave us an amazing assembly and I hope to have him back next year for more!
