I learned that conduction is the transfer of heat through solid objects. I learned that convection is the transfer of heat through a gas or liquid. I also learned that microwaves heat food with radiation. What I liked best in this unit was watching the video where those people took apart a microwave. What I liked least about this unit was doing the study guides. Does anybody know any other sources of radiant energy besides the sun, microwaves, and fire?
