Heat and Matter Reflection
Hey! Its 79S again! This is my heat and matter reflection blog! First I'm going to discuss three things from this chapter, so I decided to talk about the three ways heat can be transfered. I'll start with conduction. Conduction is the way heat is transfered by direct contact between the objects. Like cooking an egg in a pot, or ironing your clothes. Both of those things use conduction. Second is convection. Convection is when a gas or liquid heats up and spreads around. Convection is used every day and you might not even know it! Last but not least is radiation. Radiation is the way heat is is transfered without contact between the objects. The sun is where we get most of our heat from, and that's radiation. Microwaves use radiation too. Radiation is really important. The thing I liked the most about this chapter was the projects. We did a lot of fun projects. The thing I liked the least was temperature, I really think it is boring. Here's my question, How many examples of conduction can you think of?
