heat and matter
Hello, this is 58 m here. What I learned is when water gets colder, it forms rings at 4 degrees celcius. I also learned that microwaves use radiation by using a magnetic field . Lastly I learned that conduction occurs when two objects touch each other. I think the best part was the submarine lab. I think my least favorite part was the popcorn lab because I didn't think it tasted as good as at the movies.
I really get mixed up with conduction and convection. How about you? please leave a comment.

Both are ways that heat is transferred. Convection is when heat is transferred by particles moving throughout a gas or a liquid. Conduction is when heat is transferred by 2 objects in direct contact with each other.

Here is a good waty to remember conduction, D is for Direct contact and the V in conVection means nothing, but the D in conDuction stands for direct.
Hope that helps

Conduction is the transfer of heat by direct contact between two or more objects. Convection is the heat transfer between liquid or gas.

Conduction is the transfer by direct contact. Convection is the transfer of heat from one object to another by the use of moving gases. I think water forms rings at 39 degrees. Im actually not sure
