 The Big OE I’m sitting here emailing you because I have really bad sunburn on my shoulders and I can’t really move. How is every one going I’d love to hear from you. The plane trip took forever 13 hours. I watched 6 movies. I was supposed to watch 7 in the time of that. We went up to 11500m and our speed was 900kph (that’s fast). When we were coming out of the clouds you could see lightning. As we landed we all looked out the window and we saw the biggest airport that you could imagine it was at least 3 times the size of Auckland airport. The conveyor belts were so fun because we slid down them and it was like the speed of jogging. Bangkok stinks and its soooooooo HOT. This morning we went to see the reclining Buddha and boy is it amazing. We caught the boat like the locals. The reclining Buddha was massive and covered in gold leaf which is a very thin layer of gold. We also went to the snake farm where they take the venom out from the snake and use this if you get bitten by one. I got to hold a huge Anaconda. It was heavy and slimy. They have these cool things called tuk tuks. It is like a mini car and motor bike. You have to try and bargain with them to get a cheap ride. There driving is so crazy and you go from side to side and they were speeding at 140 km/hr and our normal speed was 120km/hr. The food is really spicy. I try not having it spicy otherwise I can’t eat it. The smells are so bad sometimes I can’t eat. The night time is the best because everybody is out cooking and selling things. I had a yummy banana pancake of the street. It is cooked on a round metal plate on a moving trolley that they walk up and down the street with. Tomorrow I get on another plane and fly to Nepal and I want to sit by the window because hopefully we may see Mt Everest. You should have a look at a map and see where I am. Our time is 5 hours behind you guys. I have been waking up really early. Yesterday I woke up at 5 in the morning. I will send an email from Kathmandu.
