Conditions of Use


New Zealand New Zealand is a small island country in the south Pacific Ocean. We are made up of two islands, the South Island and the North Island. At Lake Taupo there was a volcano. When it last erupted there was a deep ditch in the volcano and it filled with water.
Mount Cook is 3764 metres tall.
We have dairy farming, meat and wool.
All Whites is our soccer team and All Blacks is our rugby team.
We have no native mammals except for bats. Native birds may not fly. Kiwis live in New Zealand but they only come out at night.
Four million people live in New Zealand. The biggest city or town is Auckland. Most people live in towns or cities.
Although New Zealand is a small country it has lots of variety with its plants, birds, land and people.
