 Painted Lady Butterfly Release     It's been a long time since I last blogged. My students are doing better than me. We were able to watch most of the life cycle of the Painted Lady butterfly. I received the caterpillars almost 3 weeks ago. Within a week the caterpillars turned into chrysalises(not sure of the spelling of this). Another week later the butterflies emerged. Posted Comments  I think that was a wonderful project to do! It just seems simply amazing that "nature" can change itself into something different! I sometimes wish WE could do that! I know that Dakota was excited about it...he kept me informed of what stage they were at all the time. He wanted me to go inside and see them. It is very interesting and exciting all at once!
