There is a very good connection that I have to the conflict in the book Flipped by Wendelin Van Draaen. Once my friend liked a boy a lot. She liked him for his looks. He didn't like her back though. He didn't ignore her like in the book, but he HATED her. Then she finally realized he was a jerk who didn't deserve her. At the same time he realized that she wasn't bad. He finally liked her. but it was too late. That is the connection that I have to the book Flipped by Wendelin Van Draaen.
