Little Kid Kindness
I love helping little kids. It is a blast. But sometimes it is hard. I remember one time I was invited to a party for an eight year old. There were a bunch of other kids. One of the girls had two twin brothers. Her mom had to leave for about an hour. Her mom asked me if I could watch the boys. I replied yes. I had to hang out with the little boy instead of the girls. But it was O.K. Besides, the little boys were so cute. Their names are Collin and Quinn. They are both three years old. We went into the boy’s room and Collin saw a Buzz Lightyear toy. “Buzz Lightyear! I love him. He’s my favorite Ann!” he said so adorably.
Quinn always says funny things like “wait up Ann. ANN! Where are you?” or “NO! Ann, please don’t climb up the slide. You’re not aloud. NO CLIMBING THE SLLLIIIDDDE!” It is sooo funny. Their dad was there but he had just had knee surgery. So he couldn’t really do anything. I made sure that they were being good and that they were safe. It was fun.
There are some other cute little kids. They are so silly. When I am at Mary’s soccer game I have to watch them. One is named Nolan and one is named Katie. Watching them is sort of tricky. They are very wild. When I watch Nolan he is laughing one minute and the next minute he is screaming at me. And he even hits me with his hat. Silly, right? Now Katie is evil. She grabbed on to me, hit me, chased me, and yelled at me for no reason. Watching Katie also included eating grass, dirt, and flowers. It tasted disgusting! I also keep them very safe. It makes me feel good when I help these moms. I love it!
