I thought Period 4 GP Volcano Prezi was really good. It must have been really hard to make but it looks awesome. I really like the transitions into the new facts. I especially liked the way you embedded a Youtube video to play automatically. Overall, great job! Feel free to take a look at our blogs! :]

Hey guys! All your projects are great! The posters are eye-catching, the Prezis are engaging, the animated movies are really unique (and the accents are awesome), plus the comic books are funny! In particular, Period 2 G3's Volcano's Prezi was very well done. The pictures were concise, straight to the point, and the sublimity of some of the graphics you chose was astounding. I loved the YouTube video too, I couldn't stop watching it! If you wouldn't mind, come check out my classmates' blogs too and comment back! :)

Wow, this is SO cool! I especially loved the xtranormal volcano animated movie from Period 4! It was one of the funny videos, mode, and comics that I had watched. They are all entertaining. It would be even more awesome if I was able to even learn how to do these kind of things for my future projects as well!

Its really cool how you used those tools to present info on volcanoes. I really liked the Xtranormal animated movies. The only thing that was kinda wierd about them was that the voices were monotone, but it also makes it cool. These seem like really fun and effective ways to learn about different topics.

I think it is extremely awesome that you have been using Xtranormal, Comic Life, Flash & Prezi for the science presentations on different aspects of volcanoes. All of these presentation sites on the web seem very useful, and I will definitely begin to use some of them for upcoming projects. My personal favorite is Comic Life because the entire presentation is in the form of a comic book. It makes the whole concept a lot more fascinating and enjoyable!

Hello! I wanted to let everyone know how much I enjoyed reading your volcano projects. I have never used Comic Life before. The application seems really interesting though! I am going to test it out when I get the chance!

As a geography teacher, i am very impressed with the content of these presentations, as well as the variety of ways in which the students have presented them too. Superb efforts, and an idea I'll be sure to take into my classes. Many thanks for putting this online

I started my teaching career in South Central Los Angeles teaching in modified to full bilingual 4th and 5th grade classes. Then I moved to WA State where I have taught mainly 6th through 8th grade, mostly the 6th grade. I have enjoyed the culture clash but notice that kids are the same everywhere :o)
My areas of interest are science and technology but I also love studying ancient cultures and learning about different peoples.
