We're a fifth grade class from McNamara Elementary School in Baldwinsville, New York. Baldwinsville is located just outside of Syracuse. Have fun bloggin'!
DING-DONG!! The doorbell rang. It was a fiery Friday and my friends were at the door. "I thought we weren't going to the park until 2:00?" "We aren't going to the park yet. We're going on a bike ride and we thought you might want to come." "Hold on a second. I'll ask my mom." "Mom, can I go on a bike ride with Kyle, Matt and Matt?" "Sure, if you had something to ride on ." "Can't you fix my bike for me?" "I guess I'll try." My mom got to work on my bike and she did fix it but the brake that I use most didn't work. So, if I was going really fast and I tried to stop I would flip over my handlebars because I was using my front brakes, not my back brakes. Later on, I encountered a big drop. I flew down the drop and almost hit one of my friends. FSHHHH...my tires went. I almost hit my friend and crashed into the pond. I stopped just in time. My friend Kyle said, "Whoa, what happened? All I heard was FSHHHH..." I started pedaling. Then me and my other friend started racing ahead because the near crash astonished Matt and Kyle so much they didn't realize we had started biking again. We pedaled and pedaled and the farther ahead we got until we heard shouting. "Max! Matt!" Kyle screamed. We ignorned them and kept on pedaling anyway. Eventually we met this creek and waited for Kyle and Matt. They finally arrived and then we went to Matt's house. Once we got there, I said, "Whew, that was a long bike ride."
Last night we went on a really long bike ride last throughout Radisson. It was so much fun.
